Sabres89 took his ball and went home and buffalo39 hasn't made an appearance yet.

Homiedclown said Kane is interested in an extension and likes the city of Buffalo but expects an Okposo-like contract. And about 7 teams have called about him.

Homer hasn't been around in ages.

And to some part the Major leakers have been dealt with my dad believes it's part with the sports service that used to work in the Players Lounge , interns and coaches office

Since 716 took over the Players Lounge there hasn't been any leaks my dad has said

depending on where he goes mittlestadt could be an option as well. preference for me is to get a high enough pick to trade for a d-man though

This is the draft you do it if you aren't picking Top-5.

I tell ya there is a certain person who rails against Kane on here incessantly; you'd think he was alt right and that Depeche Mode was his band of choice. I like Depeche Mode myself I must say.

I agree, although that also means the value of your pick is slightly less than usual.

Well. I don't like loose lips. But I do like roomers. So good and bad.

For what it's worth, Sabres89 has an uncle who can be seen on the bench during games, supposedly, so his source was pretty much outed by him and a perfect example of Fly on the Wall.

They were not happy about being chosen by Nazis. They came right out and said as much.

I've heard that before and I would never tell my father because he's one of those people that have a stick up their ass and he would most likely spill on that person

At this point, I am hoping we can manage to acquire two 2nds at the deadline. That would give us 5 between this class and 2018. My hope would be Murry to land a Dman from Minnesota, Nashville, Los Angeles, or Anaheim (in that order) before the expansion.

Who do you think the players are going to be for the second round pick?

Realistically I think Kulikov will get one. And if Gionta waives his NMC, I could see (hoping/praying) a package of Franson and Gionta get a second.

I wouldn't even hate moving Gionta with the understanding he is a 1 year deal waiting for him in the offseason.

Alex Nylander still has huge potential just needs to bulk up this summer and hit camp big and mean. He is a slot player so he will be hunted mercilessly.
Besides that who else has potential of making the team next year?Guhle? Bailey?

I would be happy with either those moves .. I believe if the Sabres trade Gionta it would be to a Stanley Cup contender which I saw a rumor about the Blackhawks it be a perfect place in my opinion

Drain the swamp! Trade as much dead wood as possible. UFA's see ya. I never really had much hope for the playoffs this year anyway and when Eichel got hurt and that D? Forget it. Trade in the chips for what they can get and move on to tankIII

Kulikov has been a train wreck through. Wouldn't surprise me if he only gets a 3rd

If that's the case, with this draft being as weak as it is, I would just wait, and wait, and wait right until the deadline. If teams are only willing to do a 3rd, don't pull the trigger. IMO, a 3rd is the equivalent of nothing, and standing pat like that would hopefully send a message to GMs.

There really aren't many rentals, its one of those times you might get more than you expect when trading. I am surprised with the returns for both Hainsey and Eaves.

Does anyone remember the last time the Sabres had a clean-cut breakaway in a game? Feels like it has been a while.

honestly after mike grier i kinda just forget about every breakaway chance. of all what ifs that are major stretches, the extra wins from all missed grier breakaways is one i firmly believe in.
