I saw the video, looks like the kid from the other team jumped the bench and peters hard-shoved him off of his players. This after the opposing player was already going nuts on the players on the ice and the ref. I've seen way worse from refs, coaches and parents alike in other videos of minor league brawls.

I think in this situation, the refs couldn't restrain the kid, the kid was going nuts and Peters rightfully shoved his ass to the ground.

Slap him on the wrist, he did nothing that shouldn't have been done.

And for what it's worth, he shoved his own guys off the kid, too. He was breaking up an out of control fight that spilled over to the bench and gave the opposing kid the one arm shiver.

Maybe I'm way off, but I think we forecheck pretty aggressively already.

It's how a lot of our chances are generated

Biggest problem I see is that our defense never joins rushes and they are horrible at D zone coverage and transitioning into odd man rushes

I'm with ya. The race to be dead last and have a shot at McEichel was much more exciting

I don't know if Vanek would have signed with the Sabres. One thing you have to say about Darcy. He was a great GM in regards to trading. Not the best in scouting.

Well, kind of. Darcy appeared to be great at trading because he wouldn't trade unless he thought he was ripping off the other team. He should have made a lot more trades over the years. Some of the trades he reportedly turned down were no-brainers (should have pulled the trigger).
