Idk man, look worse than it actually was I think. He was shoving his players, too and just strong armed the kid in the shoulder to the ice. Kid was going nuts, swinging at refs, players, everyone. Situation diffused. There's a longer video out there. That one kid was going nuts for easily a couple of minutes.

Yeah, see my edit. He still hit the kid forcefully. Much more than was necessary if his objective was to break it up. And I'm saying this defending using force to break it up. The kid wants to be a little poop he can be dealt with.

Yeah, I mean, the situation was way out of hand and the kid was going nuts for several minutes. A player on the bench shoved him and he went back at like 3 or 4 guys, and the other coach. Someone needed to do something and he got thrown to the ice like he should have. Absolutely agree.
