For those wondering, Blackhawks were never a serious player on Hanzal.
Well then... - MTounian
At that price or anything close to it, no they weren't. But there was something going on as recently as when AZ was in town. I heard then the Hawks were hoping to get AZ's price down. So there ya go ...

Nice pick up for the Wild. The Hawks are still looking to add a B6, physical winger that can play. Upgrading Desjardins and Tootoo. https://t.co/xeVstjsZxI |

Vermette cost the Hawks Dahlbek and a 1st. The compensation for Hanzal seems in line, no? - Mr Ricochet
Pretty comparable, yeah, though it really will depend on what the 2nd and conditional becomes. Dahlbeck hasn't amounted to anything - he's the worst d-man in a not great defense corp in Carolina. |

Sure they go to the front of the net but other than Stewart or Coyle really no meat and potato guys, Hanzal will be a nice add for them - BetweenTheDots
For his size, Parise is always around the net. Their 3rd and 4th lines are good checking lines. Now another forward with size is added to the equation..? They have a pretty formidable center position now. |

This is only the third healthy scratch for Dennis Rasmussen since he entered the lineup in the third game of the season. #Blackhawks |

ARIZ is receiving a first-rounder, a second-rounder and a conditional pick that can become a second. MIN is all-in - L_B_R
Sirott mentioned 200 hit man Ryan White goes to MN with Hanzal. Greasy dude with a playoff style that can be spot started. |

The Arizona Coyotes have traded forward Martin Hanzal and Ryan White to the Minnesota Wild for a 2017 first round pick, a 2018 second round pick and a conditional 2019 pick that could become a second according to Elliotte Friedman, Bob McKenzie and Craig Custance. |

Hopefully Minny can trade for Burrows next and then they'll have Hanzal and Gretel. |

Never thought Hanzal was the Hawk's style of player anyway. The Wild wind up with some extremely big boys down the middle of the ice in Staal, Koivu, Hanzal and Coyle. I just don't think any of them are top end #1's. But the Wild are formidable for sure. |
