In this funky cap world everyone has questions but counting on 3-4-5 rookies is scary no matter how good they are.

A huge reason I reeeeeeeally like the Jurco move. I'm hoping his 3 zone game gives Q the "predictability" he craves.

And I'd add I'm first in line that says Kruger's salary on this team is a luxury but at the same time don't want him moved before the playoffs for the reasons stated above. We know we won't get many, if any points, but he's a proven NHL playoff shut down guy and on a team icing 3-4 rookies he's all the more valuable.

Interesting take Hamilton, one never knows. One thing for sure, if it does go through they will be the media darlings for "winning" the trade deadline game. Hopefully it will turn out like last year's winners.....aka, the Blackhawks.

Will say this LBR, if the Wild do get Hanzal it shows that they weren't overly pleased with the odds of getting by the Hawks w/o a move. Unfortunately it doesn't mean sh*t for us. Wondering if this would "force" Stan's hand if this goes down.

But MN plays a lot heavier in a possession style. Even before Hanzal they had decent size down the middle with Staal, Koivu, Haula.

For the Wild, this is a Hawks getting 2015 Vermette move - they're already so deep at forward this year that they just need a complimentary piece for a 3/4C. It's to top them off. Shouldn't be too much trouble to play him 4C minutes and keep him from getting hurt.
