No, right now it honestly is literally terrible. My gf broke up with me last night, match is right around the corner, and I miss my grandmom who died in december. So this is me letting out all those lovely feelings to a bunch of faceless usernames on the internet. No rest for the weary though, have to (frank)ing save some (frank)ing lives in the (frank)ing ED tomorrow when I don't know what the (frank) I'm doing. Can't wait for my preceptor to (frank)ing be a Richard to me just like she is every (frank)ing day, and make me feel like a (frank)ing idiot during our topic discussion on ACLS tomorrow.
Sorry. - Giroux_Is_God

Guys within the organization, guys who we acquire come in to fill the void. That's what happens. Say we center a trade around Puljujarvi+ for example (doesn't have to be him, but that's what Simmonds could net)....we have Lindblom coming in next year. It's not trading something for nothing with no return for 5 years and a hole that can't be filled.....and all the while other roster holes are also being filled concurrently. The fact is we're already in a rebuild, or near the end of it. Not saying I'd make the trade, and not this minute, but WITH Simmer we are in rebuild mode. Simmonds is doing just as poorly as everyone else. He always just gets absolved. Matt Read is scoring at the same level he is 5v5. Like the rest of them, being on the PP1 just keeps his stats from being in the toilet. He's an awesome player, but his value is always overstated to this team. He's not the difference between a full on tank and not.
There's a difference you keep ignoring between Simmonds and the other vets, because I already posted it. They're not movable on those contracts without selling low. Look at the Kessel trade, and that's what you want to do for Voracek. You literally just the other page wrote about trading Voracek for Timo Meier, and now you say, "But trading Simmonds means full rebuild....we can't do that! So let's trade the actual more important player in Voracek for less of a return!" Simmonds might be the most valuable trade asset in the league, especially with that contract. That's the difference. The market would be absurd, and we could acquire serious blue chippers that better fit the window and who don't need a 7 year contract at age 31, when the window still might not be open. - Mononoke

I think the Flyers should be open to exploring any number of ways to improve the team moving forward including trading some of the older established players. |

I didn't want to make it seem like he's THE ONLY safe one, but he's the furthest thing from Hextall's mind at the TDL |

Do you believe the Flyers may think this forward core is for the most part good enough and that the club simply needs to upgrade its goaltending while waiting for the defensive prospects? |

I've seen all three twice. Enjoying it. I feel like people going in not knowing how his powers actually work is going to make the ending so complicated that very few people will be happy with it. - mayorofangrytown
If you've seen them twice, you must be in the fan club.
At the same time though, if you really dig the show's vibe and off kilter nature, how is powers work and the extent of them could be quite satisfying and there's a lot of fun that could be had with them, and the confluence of his mental illness and powers. It's a bit of a complicated, zany show to begin with. It's definitely its own thing canon wise, so I'm not sure entirely how they'll work it. |

The demon with the red eyes could be the twist that throws the whole thing off the rails for your average viewer. I'm excited to see how it shakes out. Doubt they can do anything to blow it for me unless they dumb it down at some point and fail to finish on the premise. It's one of the better shows going right now. |

There is plenty of blame to go around for these pathetic results, but team defense has to dramatically improve next season. I won't criticize Hexy for going out in free agency and try to improve between the pipes, he really doesn't have a choice. |

I'd look to resign Mason on a cheaper 1 or two year deal before looking elsewhere.

You know, for all we female dog about Vandevelde, Dale Weise has 2 goals in 49 games. Let me repeat. The guy that was signed for 4 years and 9.4 million dollars to be our 3rd line RW, has all of 2 goals and 5 points in 49 (frank)ing games. I don't want to hear that he's been playing better of late, the guy flat out stinks.

I wouldn't write it isn't possible Mason being resigned, but I would be surprised. It does seem like both parties might need a separation from one another. Certainly, I don't know that for sure, but team defense is a major problem. All areas must be evaluated, which I'm sure Hexy is doing.
I don't think Hakstol is going anywhere will be part of the solution. System adjustments maybe, player turnover absolutely.

I bet the pick will be conditional upon making the playoffs.
This makes no sense though |
