He will finish the season as a Habs and that's it.

I think the hate is a bit funny as he's not the reason the Habs has been sucking so much this season. He missed like 2 or 3 months anyway.

I think he might get dealt for a late pick at some point in the next 4 days...

As far as the hate goes, I've hated him since day one and it's very easy for me to understand why others dislike him as well

There's a lot more reasons to hate Plek as he is actually playing way more, makes way more money and is as useless as DD.

Neither is a top 6 C and Plekanec is much better suited to be a defensive C than DD so Desharnais is far more useless...

And like I said earlier, Plekanec has done way more for this franchise than DD, so to me there's no reason at all to hate him, I dislike his contact quite a bit but Plekanec will be close to 10th all time in Habs scoring by the time he's done...

I will give you a pass.

And for Landeskog, he only played 49 games.

I used to like Plek but the guy can't do any poop offensively and has another year with a 6M cap hit. Even if Begevin can fin a top player, it's hard to fit another big salary on that team while Plek is still there.

Anyway, if anything, guys like Galchenyuk and Gallagher got to do more or they are done this season.
