No one said they were wizards, their management on a few occasions sold off vets to better their draft position. Therein lies, imo, the intelligence of rebuilding.

Jagr, Lemieux and Malkin....pretty good trio. They got lucky with Crosby.

if you look back Primeau would have complimented Linden perfectly , now would Patrick complement Horvat perfectly?
