One of the tsn guys posted budaj numbers lately and there pretty bad. They also have a bunch of.back.to.backs coming up so there going to roll.a 1A 1B going forward

Btw if thats all they got for bishop there is zero market for halak

Thank God I checked the date on this before I threw my laptop through the front picture window.

We knew there was no market for Halak. Teams could have claimed him off waivers for free. Why would they suddenly want to trade assets for him? Because he's playing better in the AHL??

We knew there was no market for Halak. Teams could have claimed him off waivers for free. Why would they suddenly want to trade assets for him? Because he's playing better in the AHL??

Isles best chance of making the playoffs is to swap Berube and Halak with Bridgeport. If Berube gets claimed off waivers, so be it. No big loss. Then they should have goalies playing 1 and 1A, because neither goalie (Halak and Greiss) seems capable of playing their best hockey 60+ games per year. A 60/40 split of games seems optimal with the hot goalie getting the majority of games.

While I'm not interested in the players that were moved so far, I'm not getting the sense the Isles will do anything big. I get not overpaying for Duchene, but it's going to suck if the Isles do nothing.

I mean anything can happen if your in it UpState but honestly I'm not making any big deals and offering up our top tier prospects to add a big name. I can see adding a depth guy, bottom 6 forward because of CC and Cal being banged up but I am going with this group for the most part and see where it brings you.
If L and M are seriously looking for a PoHOs then let him have a full plate of picks and prospects to work with imho.
