If he's got priors they are most certainly going to make an example of him. Even if he doesn't, the publicity this is getting may force the court's hand in nailing him to the wall anyway.

He probably won't see much, if any, jailtime but he's still going to probably have a felony assault on his record forever.

It probably won't ruin his life, but it's definitely gonna make it hard for awhile. Embarrassed the (frank) out of his family too.

What I posted in the main thread before was something to the effect of:

CdH, 2nd, Grabovski to TBL for Johnson, Filppula.

Good chance we lose CdH or Hickey to expansion, so I wouldn't be shocked to see them move one. Grabovski/Filppula have identical contracts, but TBL can LTIR Grabovski and (assuming they spend to the cap, which I think they will) get the full $5M savings. Isles haven't LTIR'd Grabo, so they still have a player with a $5M cap hit but he's healthy and would be a decent bottom-6 addition for a year. TBL gets a player on an RFA deal that they still have control of and won't be expensive. Isles get a 2nd line center in TJ, obviously.

I think that's a win for everyone.
