All slashing should be a penalty...you don't have to hit the hand too hard to break it. He was quite close to the hand with that hack....I'd rather see more called even if the stick doesn't break or come out like that....slash is a slash.

Fleury will be an effective starting goaltender somewhere next season!!! and Ill be happy for him... with your logic Dallas will pay 12-15 million for goaltenders next season... ... Pens don't need a goalie or a trade! They are a cup contender and if all else fails MAF can be bought out! They ve nothing to lose! MAF is better then either of your goalies... If M. Murray did not emerge as a top 5 goal tender this conversation does not take place....

Nothing to lose? You realize if you can't get rid of MAF, you're ideal situation is losing 2 million in cap space each of the next 4 years for nothing. Or, if MAF gets injured, you lose Murray in the expansion draft because injured players can't be bought out.

Im headed to the Pens vs Stars game Tuesday and got to wondering... with a back to back situation, will Murray start or Fluery? Also that could be the last time we see Fluery in a Pens uniform...

Everyone acts like Vegas will be built on the Pens that aren't protected.

MAF is not going to be picked up by Vegas....and even if he were they still have Jarry for a backup next year.

I really dont see too many destinations for a 31 yr G on the down with 2 yrs left at $5+mil......Maybe the Jets.

If Jarry is supposed to be any good they could trade Murray, protect Jarry, and keep MAF as a backup in Pitt....Not likely.

I still like Pouliot and I still believe in him but I realize I will have to let him go for him to be able to fly though. Myers is a huge upgrade over Hainsy and Sullivan refuses to play Pouliot so even though I know we will lose this trade in the end I would have to agree to it right now, reluctantly.

Pleasure doing fake business with you. Fixes the bottom pairing on the Jets immediately, and Pouliot can eventually replace Enstrom in the top 4.
