So far the moves Hextall has made aren't very spectacular. He did do good with the Pronger trade, and Grossmann , but flopped when he let Gagner walk, WHEN YOU CAN'T SCORE. So far in philly sports,ONE GM needs to do something positive and do the unthinkable, WIN, and not this constant "Rebuild" !

There are players on this team who are far better than Gagner is who are having trouble scoring. In my opinion Gagner would not have had the season he is having in Columbus with the Flyers if they had brought him back. The Flyers used the philosophy of going for it for many years under past GM's. While they had some success, ultimately it did not work out. It's time for a new approach. Short term suffering for hopefully long term gain.
