Possibly, but dmen have such a weird curve. Nurse was really starting to look good before his injury. They've brought Klefbom along slower and he's really showing the benefits of those earlier sheltered minutes. He's definitely got the physical tools.

Slower? Drafted 2 years earlier and has about 75 more NHL games...and missed an entire season...I barely see a difference in their development paths.

They both were thrown on the top pair before they had 40 NHL games under their belts. Did he play 3 pro seasons in Europe before coming over? I thought he was drafted in 2011?

And yes. He was drafted out of Farjestads.

They're quite injured without Niskanen, Orpik, Oshie and Burakovksy, but they've got so much depth to handle those sorts of losses.

He had a lot of injuries, but it's hard to say that benefitted him. There hasn't been a season where he didn't play at all.
