No I don't think there will be 25 buyers or even 15 buyers, although I do think there are probably 20-25 potential buyers.

A sellers market doesn't mean that everyone is buying, it means very few are selling.

I bet other GMs are on board with the nhl in trying to screw the canucks.

My point is many of these bubble teams may in fact be sellers. TO is pretty much guaranteed a spot and there are rumours they may sell an asset or two. The trades so far look promising I'll admit that. Jurco sucks

If I had to guess there are 12 buyers and 12 sellers. and 6 teams on the bubble that could go either way. The notion that it's a sellers market is ridiculous.

I get there may not be that many buyers. Most teams do nothing when they aren't sure. Selling is a definitve stance. What makes you guess there are 12 teams dumping assets? I got Dallas, Canes, Yotes, Avs, Canucks and Wings. Who are the other 6?

No actually I was referring to Sutter, Gudbranson, Eriksson....

Not a great example. Eriksson is a UFA. EG is 24 and Sutter was a swap of veterans. Benning hasn't been a buyer at the deadline. Understandable if you don't like UFA signings but it cost cap space and not a youthful asset.
