I saw a story yesterday about a mumps outbreak in the WHL. They think it originated in Brandon and is now affecting Medicine Hat.

Can we draw a line somehow between that and the Canucks?

doubt any team will run the risk of trading for any of our players.... and if they do they probably want a deep discount..... horrible timing for this to come up.

Good news is that we might become a bottom 3 team with a depleted lineup.... hopefully we have some luck with the lottery this time around!

But what if there are more who have symptoms ...if your prepping for a run do you take the chance of adding someone who would be purely a depth guy who could potentially knock out your best players ...there will be a few GMs that may look another direction to get their guy

GM's look for any leverage they can get..... even if we do make a deal we're not getting full value now.

an even bigger question is why the F*CK weren't they immunized as kids? I thought the MMR vaccine was given to you at like 1 years old and again in elementary school. Maybe I am jumping the gun here, as I am no doctor, but I would have thought they would have been immunized...

Any and all trades have medical checks.
If the player comes up positive, they simply.sit out until they are better.

These are professional teams, not kindergarten classes for Christ sakes.

I'm thinking of the Canuck fan who posts once or twice a year to say he is a rich, successful executive with a hot, nymphomaniac wife & mistress and has followed the Canucks since their inception but has bailed on season tickets because he hates Benning. Maybe that was Striker? I have trouble separating one whiny ass-munch from another.
