I would advise his comment referred to the poster known as Scooby/Dshiddy troll posting like an immature grade schooler.

I never knew Scoobs and Shids were the same guy....

I never pay attention to those things.

What the hell, been gone for a day and it's just sheer nonsense. One hockey post in 50. Does Eaves for a second set the table for Hansen for a second?

I would advise against lumping ppl together.
Thats stooping down to a Scooby level.
Dshiddy stirs it up a bit maybe but IMO he is not hell bent on it.
Nothng wrong if ppl wish to disagree with anyone here but its wrong if its in perpetuity. Those who cannot let it go with only the sole purpose to troll r not worth the waste of time. This a hockey blog where we all speak our minds & r not always correct but the banter is still fun if within reason.

When Dragon & I met up for beers & hockey talk we were not in agreement on many things but it didn't escalate into a pissing match either. We simply have our own point of views.

Hansen should get the same deal 2nd unless they make the conference finals and then Van gets a first. Eaves is having a heck of a season.

A 3rd for Jurco is bonkers. Pirri last season was traded for a 5th or something.

hansen has a year left on his deal, he should get more than eaves. Jurco for a 3rd should mean burrows can get one too.

Eaves has half the salary and doesn't need to be protected. This year is different.

agreed. An additional year (even at a good salary) is not necessarily an advantage depending on the team.

So are the Dallas stars officially selling?

edit: just took a look at the standings.

nuff said.

I imagine there will be some massive overhauls for that roster in the offseason.

Okay to a team that is capable of protecting him but I don't know of too many teams that would be able to do it. 7 playoff teams and 1 bubble team I heard are on his list.

It's been mentioned by multiple sportsnet/ TSN, etc that the year on hansens contract doesn't up his value ...he is basically a rental

Or they just view it as a UFA, if he gets picked.
Although LV might of course not select him...

the province is reporting that there may be more cases of the mumps found on the Canucks, which leads me to think that this could be an occasion where the Canucks can call up Joulevi on an emergency basis ...with no effect on his contract status

I dont agree at all. Not every team has an expansion problem, pitt could easily protect him and then have a cheap option for next season. Salaries are both minimal so even if hansen is a rental which he wont be on most teams because he is a cheaper option than what most top teams have.

Hes worth a 1st.

Scooby's problem is that he thinks he knows everything. I say stuff that makes people think, he says stuff to entice a riot.

You're not half bad nighthawk, I had you pegged in the wrong hole.

we will see what happens. im cool with a 2nd although i think they will get a 1st or good prospect.

i dont care what tsn says, by getting hansen for cheap for next season it allows a team that is tight against the cap to expose a player of similar age and quality on a worse contract. it all depends on how you look at it.

i would agree with you if he made 4-5 million next season not 2.

Pitt can't protect him. Unless they are going to allow Hagelin, Rust, Bonino unprotected.
