They don't have to make the WCF, do they? It reads to me that they just have to make it to the 2nd round. They can have him play 50% or more of the games in two rounds and lose, thus not going to the WCF, and it still trigger the conditional. If the WCF was a requirement, the condition would have specifically stated it rather than saying just 'first two rounds' imo.

Hard to think or believe for that matter that if they are shooting for a cup this year and next year, they would trade Seabrook.... not going to happen IMO. He's a leader and Q has a ton of faith in him based on his play time and stats. Also don't think Scotty Bowman would be a fan of trading him either unless a Travis Hamonic was coming back this way.
