It's crazy. He's almost two years older than literally anybody else, and he's the worst of them by a very wide margin.

Bryant wasn't even drafted until 13. Is that a satire article?
- JRoenick97

I don't read that crap.

Rizzo came up late June, 2012 after they worked the kinks out of his swing (some problems similar to Heyward this OS). Bryant called up later April, 2015 so Cubs keep the 7th year of team control (vs 6 if he broke ST with the club).

In a few years, we'll see: Bryzzo ~ WonderTwins.

At 25 years, 7 Months and 18 days of age, Klas Dahlbeck is the oldest defenseman in the Hurricanes lineup.

Also, he sucks.

- BINGO!

He is in the right place then.

As a Coyote fan (yes we do exist haha) and season ticket holder, I am excited at the direction of the franchise. We have a lot of young talent at the forward spot, and young D-men coming to. While we do skirt around the cap, it did get us Chychrun in the draft, which is looking like a steal thus far...

I would like to commend the Hawks fans who pretty much filled our barn a few weeks ago. While it's frustrating to be in the minority at a home game, the Hawks fans were a class act with no sh!t talking before during or after, just loudly cheering on their team. I only wish fans of other teams would emulate this behavior rather than be a bunch of douche canoes (especially Flyers, Red Wings and Kings fans that attend games).

Anyway, I think Hanzal to the Hawks would definitely get them out of the west. Not sure what we would get back but watching last nights game, I'll take any of the young forwards to add to our mix. Hawks vs. Caps or Pens would be an awesome and historic finals....

- gmiel1980

Nope. None of the young forwards for a rental. We do however have a coouple D-men slugs the Hawks would be happy to part with.

Brilliant move by Epstein/Hoyer, well within the rules no matter how much Super Duper Agent Scott Boras groused and complained. He called into one of the Chicago sports talk shows and was way over the top about it could cost Bryant the all-time HR record. He was "this close" to blowing his top...........

That's not bad for either I'd think. If Eaves weren't having a career year it would have been lower...but he is.

If anything it lowered it that's a very reasonable ask IMO.

Yep, the framework has been set for a possible deal on Hanzal I'd think. Conditional 1st on whether the Hawks make the conference final isn't unreasonable. Or maybe a 2nd and a B level prospect gets it done now.

Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has acquired a conditional second-round selection in the 2017 NHL Draft in exchange for right wing Patrick Eaves . Based on draft position, Dallas will receive the middle pick of Ottawa, San Jose or Toronto's second-round selections in 2017 per the conditions in which Anaheim acquired the pick from Toronto in a previous trade. Should Anaheim advance to the third round of the postseason and Eaves plays in 50% or more of their games in the first two rounds, the selection becomes the Ducks first-round selection in the 2017 NHL Draft.

A 2nd would be a good price for Boyle. And a 5th. You know cause a 5th is hard to pass up.

The guy has scored 16% of his career total points THIS YEAR.

He's not very good.

A potential 1st round pick for a career 30 point guy who has never played a full NHL season?
