It seems to be a combination of both. Andersen played great last night but letting two of three in - during shootout - which he has done many times in shootouts will result in losses almost always.

We need to score more in the shootout.

I don't think it's a good idea to change the tender, good way to piss him off. IMO

To win a shootout, your players need to score as well (vanek, zetterberg at Detroit), but it doesn't help if your goalie doesn't stop half of the shots in shootout. (look at Mrazek's and Howard's combined numbers for example).

Bobby Mac today on Leafs Lunch talked about the situation with the Habs has gotten so bad now he wonders if Bergevin is going to make a big deadline move or simply wait and see how bad the team is and blow it up in the summer.

I have no issue retaining on liach for the rest of the year to move him, but I don't think anyone is going to take him at 2mil....he's just not that good.

I agree with you that shooters are the main culprit - when you do poorly on a test or exam - usually because you didn't study enough. Leafs are not scouting and preparing enough for shootouts - plain and simple. Love the coach - but 1 and 7 is unacceptable.
