Backlund' excellent play for the last few year is really starting to rub off on Bennett. He I starting to really play the right way. smart plays and is playing good two way hockey. Versteeg is also showing these guys what it takes

Honestly, I'd rather the flames play Minny, I hate to admit it, but I think we would match up better against them. Don't get me wrong, a flames/oilers first round would be thrilling as (frank)! I feel like the oil would take it though.

3 of the 4 games Vs. the Oilers the Flames had less than AHL caliber goal tending and Wideman getting raped left and right

The other was a SO loss that most would agree Calgary was the better team

How are the Flames getting it done this season?

From afar it looks like Gaudreau, Monahan and Brodie are having lousy seasons, Gio's not quite up to his Norris-caliber recent standards, Bennett hasn't progressed and Elliott's been a disaster. Yet here they are with a 4-point lead over the Kings. How are they doing it?

Do you watch the games or just check the stats? They've been a lot better lately, but both have played a lot of lousy hockey this year. Monahan has 20 goals largely because he went on that 9 goals in 11 game tear. Only 11 goals in the other 50 games. Gaudreau has been forcing it way too much and has not looked comfortable for a lot of the season.

I'm not sure what you think PPG means. It stands for power play goals. He's not second in that. He's also leading the team in points per game.

Yeah the Oilers are too young and still play like it too much to win more than 1 round im my opinion. Your original comment on McDavid being a one trick pony was one of the stupidest things I ever read....nothing personal. Judging from his current season that might apply to Johnny Hockey tho
