Not Chinese, but me and my coworkers go about every other week to a top ten in the country ranked ramen place called shojo. Holy (frank)
- RickJames77

Goddamn I love me some Ramen.... there's a place just over the border in Vancouver that is meant to be one of the best in Canada... after eating there twice, I can say that I've yet to have better

EDIT:

Double post but (frank) it. I'm also going to experiment with making my own broth/noodles... I'll let you know what I get done

Let me know how it is! We went today for lunch and it's just so good.

It's actually a bit fusion place so their other big menu items are a shojonator which is their take on a baconator, fried chicken sandwich, chicken and waffles and their shadowless fries which were ranked the best fries in Boston. Also probably the best cocktail bar in Boston. Place is a serious gold mine.

Maybe with the cooking facilities at your cabin.... at Casa Lums we do poop right

(Case in point - scratch veggie curry that has been simmering for 3 hours, and tandoori chicken marinaded for 36 hours before hitting the grill )

They're opening a place next door called Ruckus Noodles which I'm pumped to try whenever it opens. Been going to Shojo about 3 times a month for the last couple years. If you ever make it there let me know what you think

Yeah but Its all elative and if you work in DC and want to live in DC (and not in a absolutely poopty spot) you're going to need to make a lot more than 40k. Let's not even get into retirement

I'm down for all of those.

All from scratch of course

(Well, not sausages... we don't have a meat grinder. There was a place in Edmonton that did phenomenal English sausages though, I miss that poop)

Like I said it's a fusion place. Their fries were literally ranked the best in Boston along with them having some of the best ramen in the country.

Awesome crunched up in a baked chicken and cabbage casserole. Crumbled dry after it's baked and serve.
