From a Colorado perspective, what do you believe is fair value for Iginla right now. I'm thinking 3rd round pick, potentially with a prospect attached but what are the feelings from the fanbase?

Pretty much anything if it will give him a chance to win a cup. We love Iggy and want him to get his cup!

Iggy to Pittsburgh would be fantastic.

And send Tyson Barrie to "How To Play Defense" school for a couple years. As long as #4 is on the team they'll never be good defensively!

I wouldn't hate a deal with Tampa that could somehow reunite Drouin and Mackinnon. Not sure how to make it work for everyone but I know it wasn't that long ago that he (Drouin) wanted out. Get a dynamic pair going!

Might as well, it doesn't sound like Nolan or Nico are franchise players. Not knocking either one as they are both extremely talented athletes, just kinda tough to follow up Mcdavid and Mathews... Drouin is a proven NHL forward, and with the way he's been playing, I doubt Steve Y will part with him for anything less than spectacular.

that was originally the first deal

it was Holden, Kyle Wood, Avs 2017 1st round pick and conditional 2018 pick at last years deadline before it was shelved by Yzerman

Why couldn't we be this bad last year or the year before? We miss McDavid, Eichel, Laine, and Matthews.

The 1st is has more value now knowing that it will be top 4 and the Tampa's cap issue will need to be situated. A return for Drouin would be made up of prospects and draft picks and a top 4 pick would give them the best talent for no cap that they can help them win next season.

Drouin won't be going anywhere. Tampa will be able to solve their cap issues moving someone else. If there were a move for him, it would start with the top 4 pick.
