So a few things I have noticed lately. Brody has been playing with a lot more confidence since he has a D partner who doesn't suck. Chasson is actually playing better lower in the lineup and with less min. Bennett is playing way better as of late. I think he is underrated he plays on the pk on the pp. he blocks shots he is tough. Smart. Anyone who thinks he should be traded is a bonehead. People thought backlund should have been traded earlier in his Career as well. I think bennett will be a better player then backlund one day. And goaltending is not a problem. Elliott is getting dialled in.

We have a pretty decent core of young guys. Still can't believe how DH and Tkachuck fell into our lap. Also drafting JG and TJB in the 4th was crazy luck. Things could be a lot worse.

I'll admit maybe I'm biased, but even though that could be considered his dirtiest play, I'm actually not sure if he tried to slew-foot him intentionally

If you watch the play, he's jockeying for position as they head towards the net/boards
his skate digs in to help with the stopping motion, then he used his upper body to push davidson...Davidson then trips over Tkachuk's leg but Tkachuk's feet are in a reverse V position to stabilize

it's not really like he swung his foot/leg and swept Davidson's feet underneath him

If a 2nd round pick plus AHL prospect with half salary retained is the going rate for hainsey, what do you boys think wideman and JJ are worth then?!

Exactly i watch the Oilers and that was a dirty coward slew foot. Glad Tampa gave him his just dessert.... more to come for him. Also tell him to ask his dad to lay off the dessert.
