Didn't say this year. Didn't say either one would automatically turn it around. Its a deal they need to because they need high end defencemen. Odds of them finding goal scoring wingers to replace that production are significantly higher than them finding 2 d-men without giving up anything of value.
- Sabresfan-365

I can't subscribe to the notion that muzzin or Martinez are "high-end defensemen"...plus, as someone pointed out, they are getting up there in age

Bad pick agreed. But I think he has the possibility to be one of those players that suddenly gets it and comes out of nowhere to be a decent player. 3rd line scoring winger I think is still fair for his ceiling.

To think when we drafted him I thought we got a poor man's wayne simmonds lol at the very least I thought he was going to be at 20 goal guy

Time to go look at the draft archives lol

I think Marcus is the person to get us a first round pick I know it sounds stupid but teams usually pay for that type of player

This is priceless. Muzzin is still on the Kings and the poor bugger is already starting to get trashed on this board. He has become Myers, Stafford, Derek Roy already and he hasn't even played a game for us. Of course, whomever we trade to get Muzzin (if it happens) is the next coming of Mario Lemieux once he leaves the Sabres.

I went to the Amers/Comets game also, what stood out was slow crappy hockey. The Amerks are just as bad as the Sabres when it comes to puck control. It seemed like none of the Amerks could settle the puck down enough to control it just like the Sabres.

I wondered how any of them made it to Buffalo playing like that. We are in some trouble if this is what get promoted to the parent club.

For all you trade Kane idiots none of Baptiste, Bailey or Nylander can come close to Evander Kane not even 50% adequate. Trade Kane and you have no one to replace him, trade Kane's 50 - 60 goal production year over year for someone who would be lucky to pot 10 goals on the lw would put this rebuild back, I can't say a year or two because it would take longer to land a player near Evanders skill.

The supply line to the Sabres suck, they play the same sloppy hockey when they're called up. The parent club is infected by the poison from Rochester.

If it weren't for the two wide open net goals the Amerks scored they would've lost this one in regulation.

Are we still talking about Altar boys?

A priest had to go pee but had to stay and listen to confessions, when a janitor passed by the priest said "Hey could you sit in here and listen to confessions while I go the restroom?"

The Janitor replied "Well I dont even know what to do."

"Just give them a few hail marys and send them on their way" said the priest

So the janitor agrees and the priest leaves. At that moment a nun comes in and says "Forgive me father but I have committed a horrible sin... I performed oral sex on a man yesterday."

The Janitor was in shock and knew this was more serious than just a few hail marys. So he opened the door to see an alter boy walking by and asks "Hey kid what does the priest give for a blow job?"

The alter boy states in a normal voice "Usually 2 snickers and a coke"
