I used to think this...

You have to cook it right.

First, you remove it from the brine. Then you let it air. Then you cut it into cubes.

I season it with black, white and cayenne pepper while it sits.

Then you get some olive oil going really good like. Drop all of the tofu in at once. Let it fry up while adding more pepper seasoning to the non-seasoned side as the other side cooks. Flip the cubes and let them fry. Brown on both sides.

At this point, add soy sauce. Let it sizzle real nice like. Then, wait for it to caramelize, then add more soy sauce. Let it get a nice and crispy and caramelized. Remove from heat and oil. Eat with rice.

It very good this way.

He's definitely having a good season and it's coming in a ton of different ways (meaning he's not just riding on Jack's coat tails, etc). If there was a guarantee he'd be like this all the time and the off-ice stuff wasn't an issue anymore, there's no way I'd move him. But those question marks are why I'd be fine with moving him for a top pair D man.

i agree with this, and i absolutely love what kane brings to this team, even if the goal scoring slumps and he just brings it hard on the third line for chunks of time. i may not like the second part as much if its 6/36 on an extension mind you. from what i have seen on other message boards, the real trick is getting "a top pair d man" for him. and not many people, sabres fans included, think he returns more than a second pair d.

Tofu isn't actually healthy, so why people subject themselves to it is beyond me.

I'm not a vegetarian by any stretch. Could never give up chicken for one. That's unbecoming of a Buffalonian. Sacrilege. Don't eat many veggies still. But having a Mediterranean GF changed my diet a lot, lol. I used to hate Olives, etc...

But tofu can be good, especially if you buy it pre-cooked from an Asian store. They know how to cookum up some tofu.

Well, it's not healthy to eat it all the time, that's for sure. But it's better than processed slaughter factory meat that never sees daylight, is engineered to grow 5x faster than it should and comes from a terribly unhappy animal.

I used to work with a Ukranian guy and he would come up to me and tell me how bad soy was all the time. Something about the pigs back in Soviet times. He remembered how for years they fed them grains and veggies on the farms and when soy become super cheap, they switched to soy feed and he said the pigs would not only end up twice as big, they would be massive at just 6-8 months old.

Verdy bad. Is no good. Dis a POISIN.

He also hated peanut butter with a passion, lol. He found out his son was eating it at school and blew a gasket. Then he found his wife was hiding jars of peanut butter in the cupboard and making him sandwiches and he flipped out lol.

I used to trick him into eating it on break and LMAO.

Not sure if it was the same poster, but something similar was posted the other day and I'm genuinely curious as to what they meant.

Is it really that difficult to understand? I think it's stupid, but basically what he was trying to say is look at the numbers from when he started to get hot(December) and if after a calendar year(this coming December) of being good he'd be more willing to give him more money/say he's elite/whatever dumb thing. So if in a calendar year he scores 40 goals he's equating it to a 40 goal season. Which isn't right, but isn't totally wrong either if he scores 40 in a season's worth of games over 2 different seasons is still really good.

At his best Muzzin gives you the same on ice impact that risto does, and thats not a stretch.

The question for TM would be can he be his best on this team at probably more minutes?

Kind of. He has 41 total goals in well over a calendar year as a Sabre. I didn't know what the hell it meant

Am a DBZ fan, can confirm, Gerbe.

And Idk why anyone wants Muzzin. I never thought he was all that good, personally. Had the benefit of playing with Doughty and in a defensive system. Just like Quick.

I mean seriously, PETER BUDAJ has phenomenal stats this season playing in that system. PETER (frank)ING BUDAJ. 2.12 GAA and .917 SV%. They obliterate his career stats.

Hard pass on Muzzin. He was the player I was most worried about (frank)ing up last Kings Cup win. He looked rattled every time he touched the puck.
