I seriously doubt the Rangers trade for Shattenkirk. They won't sign him to an extension, otherwise they'd have to protect him in the expansion draft. Why not hold onto what they'd have to give when they can get him for nothing but a new contract.

Oh def. Not the best work of art ever, but damn, if you don't come away saying "that's the most Fd up character in a movie ever". He's a drug/gambling addict, alcoholic, just terrible person who's on the take, does whatever he wants, no matter what. There's a few memorable scenes you can't forget, I'll post one in a min.

The only reason to scratch Buchnevich is to protect his health cause he's going elsewhere as part of package, whether it be for Shattenkirk or not. AV getting a lot of heat for scratching him, but I think this Gorton telling AV he needs to be careful with how he uses Buchnevich.

He absolutely could. But it easier to assimilate with a fellow person of your country that's been here for a while. I know for a fact, that Panarin and Anisimov were attached at the hip off the ice. Kid I play hockey with is good friends with TVR, he explained when the Hawks go out on the road that Panarin and Anisimov are always together and Artie translates for Panarin.
