If it means getting Shatty without giving up current guys like Buch, I think it's a no brainer. The Rangers aren't in a position to sit on their hands much in the next couple years, got to get ballsy and bold making runs at cups still
Throw something like this together:
#1
Lindberg or Fast
Graves or Gropp or one of the goalies
If that ain't enough sobeit, I do agree you can't go nuts here with a rental - Slimtj100

idk i dont get this one. granted it was more 19/24 but that was the best the line looked since the first 10 games. why mess with it and insert pirri other than for the pp |

Did you notice Buch on that line though? It was always Fast & Lindberg. I don't know if the other winger matters. Might just be AV trying to keep Pirri in game condition too. |

Pirri can only be in to help the PP. I think fans gonna have to get used to Buch not being a regular til next season. And if they don't win the cup it'll ultimately be the reason why and AV will have to be fired because of it lol. Also makes me think that another forward could be on the deadline radar. |

I didn't want to say it because some people here might get upset, but yes that line last game and all their positive play was 90% Fast and Lindberg |

Yup, I want Buch to play like he did in the begining of the season, but he is struggling, no getting around it. |

It's all Grabners fault. Most likely mgmt could in no way expected Grabner to do what he's doing this year, in all likelihood they had Buch penciled into the top 9 and Grabner for the 4th line. So now your seeing that Buch isn't a 4th line player. They should send him down imo because he isn't gonna get enough ice time and needs to hone skills anyway. He's the injury replacement immeadiately when a top 9 goes down, which almost always happens |

So angry on this. I get the PP has struggled but what had Pirri done before on the man advantage before he was scratched for NINE straight games to warrant getting back in? Nothing. Plus if wanted him in, why scratch him for NINE straight games. The PP has been horrible but you sacrifice playing a better winger just to get a supposed PP specialist in. Makes no sense at all. Pirri better score if they get a power play. |

I'm not sure why Buch needs to be the guy to make room to give Pirri/Puempel time but what do I know

Idk Jan. I'm not gaga over Pirri believe me, but Buch playing on 4th line doesn't make much sense to me either. |

The fourth line was great the other night. Largely Lindberg and Fast but Buch was a major part of it, so why screw up something that worked |

They need a fifth line haha. A kid like him im not sure burying him on the 4th line is the best idea. However, not playing him at all may be worse. |

Buch was pretty good when they had him on the 4th in the beginning of the year. He can really play anywhere. He's just struggling right now. I really don't understand the uproar over it. |

All AV needs to say is I like Trump and he's as good as dead, Buch is playing 10 minutes on the 4th line, him coming out doesn't kill us like most people are tweeting right now and perhaps Pirri is being showcased for that thing next week |
