I'm hoping Jake Muzzin just does Muzzin things and puts a sweet pass right on Marchand's stick.

It will be such a great pass, Sweeney will try his hardest to acquire Muzzin so he can pass to Marchand all the time.

I'm literally shocked that he hasn't tried to trade for Muzzin. At one point I was like LA can totally have Jimmy Hayes for him. Now...I'm not 100% on that.

Vesey to Boston 100% though.

Its nice to see them get a couple wins on the California trip. The last few year of playing over there havent been too kind and are usually the catalyst to the downward spiral the B's take at the end of the year. Going to be an interesting few days to see what they do. Playoff race is going to be tight.

I'm bothered by the fact that 2 teams in front of Boston have fewer wins. If they miss the playoffs by virtue of the loser point I'll be bullpoop

Yeah it sucks but it is on them. They know how valuable getting to OT is when its tied late. They have dropped too many games in the last three minutes.

If they keep playing the way they are they should be in the playoffs. Montreal smells like collapse. Toronto will do Toronto things. Somehow Ottawa is in a decent spot but they arent that great either.

Ottawa's schedule is about to get difficult, Montreal is sputtering along and will need Price to bail them out. Toronto is Toronto.

You're already bullpoop!

Ahahahahaha

Good game, but I think Nash is more valuable than Belesky and schaller and Hayes in the lineup.

they looked good, liked the way they bounced back after Dallas tied it up. hated the call on Krug, he did everything he could to play it right, but I see why they called it.

What sucks the most is if we made the coach change a year or two ago we could have made a few different decisions and not been a couple seasons too late in the rebuild.

Fun as hell to watch now though. That's a plus!

Hoping Liles was playing yesterday to showcase him a bit for a trade... Still too many guys on the blue line.

The Bruins are looking like a playoff team as of late. Still a TON of teams bunched up around the playoff race though. I still think Montreal is dropping out. I would love it if Toronto made it and Montreal missed.

I don't know if there's really anything they need to add going into the playoffs... the forward group has gotten the scoring going really well under Cassidy's tenure, and we've already got more than enough guys on the blue line. Backup goaltending would probably be the biggest need, but Khubodin seems to have turned it around, and McIntyre is still lighting up the AHL.

It's going to be a nerve racking stretch, but at least the B's are winning consistently now.

P.S. I've seen enough of Hayes under Cassidy's system... he still is the weakest link out there, and I hope Czarnik takes his spot as soon as he's finished his conditioning stint with Providence.

I would say if they can manage another top 4 D in the right trade that would be perfect. They would need to ship one or two D out though. I agree with what you said on Hayes, he is garbage an just needs to be sat the rest of the year. Hopefully Vegas takes him, that would be great.

Yup, I'd say trade Kevan+ and get a good lefty to play with Colin. Wouldn't hate it to see the team pick up a good RW. Someone who could bump Backes down to play with Spooner and Vatrano

Yeah that is true, good point... but who would you target as a top 4 d? I don't think the Shattenkirk thing is happening... and I don't really know who else is out there that wouldn't be of the same ilk as JML.

I haven't followed Garrison in a while but I always liked him. Thought he had a good shot on the point too. I think he would be at least a slight upgrade and would be a cheap option. There is also his old partner Kulikov. If we could move Liles + like maybe a young D like Cross or O'Gara or forward prospect potentially.

If not, maybe Barrie would be easier to get than Landeskog? A first + Subban + K Miller?

This. I really just can't with WEEI. Allow me to personally and slowly murder Jerry Callahan and Kirk Minehan and then maybe....maybe.
