I have no clue why so many people defend TSN and Ferarro.. he's the most annoying commentator most nights. Here a quote from last game after Hellebuyck almost loses his mask, "you know, it's crazy how back in the day johnny bower.. and you guys will have seen it on some of the opening montages, takes a puck off the face and also a stick to the face on the same play.. I just love that stuff"..

I'm telling y'all.. imagine this utopia where hockey is played in only hockey markets and some teams play out of smaller venues for the experience. Players are also owners and have a vested interest in seeing the game grow. Places like Saskatoon/Regina, Halifax, Hamilton, Quebec City, Hartford, Milwaukee etc would all have teams.. but everything now is about the mighty dollar and it's squeezing all the small town feel and "Canadiana" out of it. I envision the broadcasts to be far more laid back and more of a cozy feel.. broadcast from a hunt camp in northern Canada somewhere.. I'd watch that

I'm really rooting for the guy tho.. I've been following him since his Sudbury days. I hope he's a byproduct of good AHL development. You'd think after all this time there wouldn't be any serious holes in his game, and so far he's been lucky. But watching him back check has me worried.. flashes of Kessel..

Leafs will probably stand pat unless they get a huge offer for JVR..

He doesn't play Babs style well enough and he will be moved eventually. Probably for a Parayko type defender who's mean and can skate well
