Umm, how about brothers of destruction? Where are they on that list? I'm a big fan of the undertaker!

These are Stampede tag teams Richard smack.

Be more specific about which teams you are referring to next time lol. I don't follow wrestling that closely.

But you gotta admit, the brothers of destruction always put on a great show. Shame that those days are long gone.

poopty...you missed out. I started watching in 86.

Honkytonk Wayne (HTM) was the champ there and he had a partner named Rotten Ron Starr and they were the Memphis mafia. Owen Hart was just coming into the biz along with other cruiserweights like Ben Bassarab, Johnny Smith ( DaveyBoys kayfaybe brother), Bruce Hart was still the Commonwealth mid heavyweight champ before his serious knee injury.
The Tag Champs were Kerry Brown and Duke Myers ( the masters of Disaster) but they eventually lost to Owen and Bassarab. Then a young (Japanese Legend ) Hiro Hase came in with a partner as the masked Viet Cong Express and they feuded for the tag belts with Owen.

Around this time the great Muhkan Singh won the big belt and his partner Gamma Singh was commenwealth champ. Owen went single and beat Gamma before feuding with Muhkan for the title.
Bruce Hart teamed with Brian Pillman ( Bad Company) and they went after the belts, feuding with the Cuban Commandos ( Cuban Assassin amd jerry Morrow).
Chris Benoit and Beef Wellington made their debuts, Owen started feuding with Bad News Allen briefly, it was. Amazing.

Probably the best 2 years of independent wrestling ever.

I see a few really good names there... (frank), wrestling sucks now

This was televised from the moon, correct? Seriously though, I'd much rather watch that stuff than today's wrestling. Do you watch wrestling these days at all? If so, what's your theory on why it sucks?

So from the 1990's till the late 2000's?

The tombstone doesn't ring a bell at all?

It sucks because ....

1) less story telling in the ring. Too many high spots. They need to watch about 1000 Ricky Steamboat or Bret Hart matches before they plan a match.

2) weak characters. The only good ones are Bray Wyatt and Chris Jericho

3) too many titles that change hands too often. They are meaningless.

4) too much either forcing crappy wrestlers down the fans throats or holding goods back (Roman Reigns, John Cena, Triple H/ Jericho , Daniel Bryan , CM Punk)

5) need to bring back managers with personality.

6) too many scripted interviews

7) they can't decide if this is the Attitude era or Rock n Wrestling.

8) time to put Taker, HHH, Kane, Big Show, etc out to pasture.

9) HHH and Stef have too much personal beef with wrestlers and it's affects their booking.

10)they need to stop having Heels and faces. It's stupid. Let the fans decide if someone is a Richard.

Oh (frank) yeah. I watched a fair amount of bootleg Japan stuff on VHS from the early 90's.

Great Muta, Justin Liger, Hiro Hase, kensuke Sasake, Masa Chono, Rikki Choshu...and they had the best NA wrestler too...the Steiners, Stan hansen, Vader, Ban Bam Bigelow, Benoit....

I agree with all of that... Why can't they see it? It's so annoying to see the creative team destroy wrestling.

They need real competition... I wish some billionaire would start up an organization as a hobby...

I think today's wrestlers are terrified of letting loose, because the WWE is the only option in North America, and they fear that they'll be fired. During the WCW/WWF days, wrestlers knew that if they were good, they could still afford to (frank) up because they had a safety net. They weren't so stiff/unnatural when on the mic.

I'd say if most fans had that, they'd put off a much better show than what the WWE currently does.

Yes but thesy would still be poopty. i would be incredible. I would only have 40 wrestlers on my roster at any time as well, and My champions would be dominant, so it would quite a run to be considered a serious threat to the title.

And I would also bring back blood feuds.

Calgary won and looks like LA will lose. If they get in, I hope we can play them in the first round. A sweep would be unreal.
