He's pretty young, he's still way ahead of Beaulieu.

He will be available for Vegas then

i'm sure if they won't trade him and get SOMETHING then they would not leave him unprotect and then lose him for NOTHING

That sounds awesome, really it does... But maybe you should read the rules on the expansion draft!

They have 2 other options really.... Trade their 1st round pick to Vegas to not select him or trade Vatanen or Lindholm!

okay they need to trade their best defenseman they can do a whole lot better than beaulieu and whatever pick you had in mind.

btw clayton stoner plays 5 more games and he can be left unprotected

Fowler is not their best defensemen

It doesn't matter how many they leave unprotected, they can still only protect 3

Protected Lists
* Clubs will have two options for players they wish to protect in the Expansion Draft:

a) Seven forwards, three defensemen and one goaltender

b) Eight skaters (forwards/defensemen) and one goaltender

OK so they will protect 4 D and 4 F and leave Rackell exposed? Good plan

Or Silfverberg...still think it's better than losing a young and promising D.

They can't afford to lose Rackell or Silfverberg. Both are really good young forwards...

But if they are losing them, would be nice to see Bergy grab one of them.

You're all over the place with Fowler being a prospect and a promising D... He has 6 years in the league, he is what he is...

I saw the article as well...Fact is, one of Fowler, Vatanen or Lindholm will no be a Duck next season unless they give Vegas their 1st round pick to not select one of their D
