I really wanted October and November Andersen to be the real deal. That was maybe the most important piece this year.

Laine is an awesome talent.

Matthews has also been outstanding this year.

I still think centering rookies is a far different ask than playing a wing with an all-star center. Almost every highlight I see of Laine is he ripping a one-timer from a great feed from someone.

He really does look like Ovechkin in that respect. The thing is, I don't know if there is more to his game. When he is that good at what he does, I am not so sure he needs to do more
