It is good to see the "who is the best rookie" question finally put to rest. Last night clearly shows Laine is the best rookie in the NHL this season.

Watching him on the PP with this stick up in the air for 30s hoping somebody would give him the puck makes me think Marner would be great for Laine's game as well.

I was going to say...he'd look great on anyones wing.

That 1st goal was a thing of beauty...Leafs (frank)ed up a bit in their own end..but man, he just pivoted and boom.

The 2nd goal was more luck...pretty sure he missed the net and bounced it off a a body on the side.

I want to get use to that type of scoring throughout the lineup. I think it would be amazing. These kids are going to be a good team.
