Komarov is one of the better defensive forwards on the Leafs. I think he will be a Leaf for the remainder of his contract.

The leafs simply don't have room for all these young forwards. Still have Liepsic no Kap who look like they have a good chance of making the NHL. And guys like Johnson, Tamashov, Bracco who have a lot of talent as well.

He's getting paid regardless. He's had some terrible nights; Leivo doesn't need to sit for that long, so it's either Martin or Sosh that sits (I'm fine with either).

I could see it as well. I think Kap has a real chance of becoming a top 6 forward.

I'd love him on the 4th line and the PK.. he could also fill in on the 3rd line. I don't know why Babs uses him in offensive roles.

The lammi vs Mathews debate will continue, but imho their's no debate in my view, lammi is the better goal scorer and probably always will be,but Mathews is and will be the better overall player! It's the Crosby vs OV comparison, 100%would take Crosby over ov to lead a team,but lammi and ov are great complimentary players! Mathews and Crosby are franchise player's! But Laine has way better line mates.. that can't be overlooked.

Matthews can do everything by himself. That on top of his far superior defensive play puts him above everyone else in this rookie class. I won't be surprised if both Laine and Marner put up more points every year but they're not going to be better players I don't think.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm in the sit Martin train. Not impressed.

What I saying is I don't think they went out of their way to get him and pay them that to have him rotate in and out. They think he brings something, but he doesn't. He's lost more often than not and hadn't stopped the cheap shots that some said he would.
