I don't think that's true. Admittedly, I haven't crunched the numbers and definitely won't, but I bet there's no discernible difference for third round players that actually become NHLers in a draft labelled strong compared to one labelled weak. The only difference in the strong years is there are a few players that separate themselves from pack.

I'd go so far to say that I bet that if you looked at players taken outside the top 15, you wouldn't be able to guess if the draft class was projected to be strong or weak for the given year.

Ridiculous talk. Bennett has been a sizable bust. Not like they have the space and assets to replace him w Landy. The only trade made with Avs is for Iggy, and I for one hope it never happens. He deserves better than this mess for his last ride.
