I think all the Hawks need to do is learn how to kill penalties and they will be set |

That 3rd goal by Minny, contact with Crawford on the play (kick to his leg)...I swear if Hossa had scored a goal like that it would have been challenged and waved off. |

Game of the year so far for our Hawks. Amazing effort. Dominant Toews line. Extremely impressive 4 line rotation and puck possession. - SimpleJack
When we call defended Toews
Where are the Nay Sayers now
He took that game on his shoulders and showed the rookies what it takes to compete in the Playoffs
Nicely done JT |

Just imagine if Keith hadn't played the puck into Crawfords pads on the Minnys first PPG...oops. |

Helluva game by the Hawks. The only thing to complain about is the stinkin PK. Maybe instead of a top-6 LW Stan can acquire someone who can win a d-zone faceoff on the PK. |

It was nice to see the Hawks actually play for 60 minutes
Really happy that the captain has showed up in Chicago in the past month, I knew he could carry a line
Team looks good, bit concerned with Corey since he's come back from surgery he's been leaky |

Congrats to Coach Q on 400th Win !!! Schmaltz played great .Team playing very well right now .Kane seemed a little off tonight ,but made some great play at the end blocked a shot then dove to get the puck out ..GO HAWKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

May have something to do with Minny having the best PP at home by far in the league .. |

Not a naysayer, the last time I've seen him play like this was in the 2015 playoffs, please correct me if I'm wrong |

Now......just keep breadman from getting a point. - ILGolfer
Breadman needs to sit and watch a bit.
He looks gassed. Maybe a pressbox visit will wake him up.

Good lord no. |

Really believe this will be the six defenceman we see going into the playoffs, don't like that we don't have a true #4 defenseman |

Nice game, but still need a top six LW for the team to carry the mail through a playoff run.

I don't know about gassed but he's definitely got some defensive liability issues. |

Hanzal would be a solid add too.

How about Palat to slot in for Rasmussen next to Kruger and Hossa. |

WOW game for the Captain's line...nice win.
Sure would make life easier if the Hawks had something..anything?!? approaching competence with their special team units.
Without improvement...lousy special team play will likely kill this club in the post season. |

Any chance Bowman moves Kruger $3 mil (cost controlled for 2 more years), McNeil and a 2nd round pick for a rental like Hanzal $3.1 mil or Boyle $2 mil? If you are AZ or Tampa would you do it.
Schmaltz - Toews - Panik
Panarin - Anisimov - Kane
Moose - Boyle/Hanzal - Hossa
Hartman - Kero - Hino
Even crazier... Kruger, McNeil, Pokka, a 2nd, and a 3rd for Filppula $5 mil for this year and next? |

I personally haven't been impressed with Rasmussen lately. He'd be the next one I'd sit if the Hawks acquired another forward. |

It definitely will be interesting, honestly both goals were couple lucky bounces and finding their way into the back of the net, how do you stop that, I don't know |
