Seriously? trade Evander Kane? Do you watch N.H.L. hockey at all? If you take year over year which is dec 3 2016 - dec 3 2017, his goal production projects into the 50 - 60 goal range. His value is far more than a hockey trade of a lw for a top pairing d-man.

His off ice behavior has improved, if it were you wouldn't you want a chance to prove yourself? Kane has done a fine job behaving and a fine job playing hockey.

I get tired of fans that are swayed by craphole media coverage saying trade Kane instead of givining it a little thoughtand seeing he's an intregal part of this team. His 5v5 speaks loud as does other areas of his play like skating, checking , passing and being in the dirt areas to score goals.

Kane is actually scoring 0.02 ppg above his career average.

No. No he was not "amazing".

He had something like 4 or 5 2-goal games that year, a stretch in between of about 10 or so with not even a point.

He was streaky as hell, wasn't fast, played with Vanek and Roy that year and didn't throw the body around.

You simply cannot compare the two seasons. Drew was also in a contract year IIRC, Kane is not.
