I think Gropp's #s are a bit inflated due to who he plays with but its good to see that his coach uses him in a # of different positions. should help his overall growth. Gettinger is a sleeper. long shot of making the team but you cant help but see his size and think what if...

i agree, i think we could get Landeskog for that price. Shatty is like Callahan for the rangers. very good player but wants way too much for his upcoming contract. teams know that. it limits his value a bit.

yea i agree. i personally think he is overpaid. i absolutely hate those 8 year 2nd contracts. makes guys way over paid. EDM has a few guys on those types of deals. you cant really tell how a player will progress after a year or 2. landeskog has talent, but is he worth $5.5M for the next 4-5 years? IDK. his stat history does not tell a good story - down every year for the past 3 years.

Barrie has 25 points in 49 games... thats not bad. He would be the guy i would want the most. if Shatty costs us 2 top prospects and a 1st, i would ask COL if they would do that for Barrie.
