All the traditional value assumptions are up in the air with the expansion looming. I expect things to get wacky at the deadline.
Haven't seen a breakdown of the Ducks possible exposed player scenarios but coupled with their always precarious cap situation, I'm very curious to see how they handle it going into the deadline, draft and offseason

Essentially unless they buy out Bieksa's contract (which is highly unlikely) they will need to expose one of Rackell or Silfverberg. The other option is to trade one of Fowler, Lindholm or Vatanen for assets that don't need protection.

I was just looking at TOI; Martin was played 2-3 mins more in NYI than in TOR, so not sure whether Babcock is really that much of a favorite of him, or that it's just bc the other players on his line are not good enough (for Babcock) to give them more toi. - MaximusAurelius
