What time of grit does Hansen bring? He forechecks... But he isn't very physical, and is injured all the time.
- dshiddy

Pretty sure he has been suspended for his grit in essence 2013 and he stands up for teammates which is a heck of a lot more than the rest of the players currently on the roster.
Also is he injured all the time say like Baertschi?

On another note Zatkoff placed on waivers, LA making room for Miller? Maybe Linden/Aqualini visit will pay off.

I've disliked a bunch of our GM's, doesn't mean I'm not a fan, just means I don't like the boss.
- LeftCoaster

Just teasing you about your constant whining.

Could just be that Quick is nearing a return.

No but rising, which is bound to happen....helps, patience, give it time to work in our favour. You're so impatient!
- LeftCoaster

I stated a fact. How am I impatient?

The odds of moving forward are the same the following year. There is a good possibility that we don't move up in the 3 lottery pick window you mentioned. We are already burned 1 of the 3. The odds of us not moving forward the remaining two times is a very possible reality... and you just keep coming back to argue against it.

Quick was skating with his team at practice this morning or yesterday. Heard it on the radio this morning.

Lefty, playing it off that people don't know that drafting high helps sure sounds a lot like the poop being seved by someone else that people here don't know coaching decisions and line deployment matter. No one has denied these obvious things.... it's a attempt to minimaze facts and solid arguements when you are left with little else is all. Who needs to keep suggesting poop like that? It does more to discredit than anything.

Edler and Hansen are worth more than that.
Eller and Shaw got 2 2nds each. Eller doesn't do much of anything.
As much as ppl whine about Edler. Teams would line up for him.
Tanev is loved around the league. Even playing thru injury this year, he'd fetch a 1st and a prospect. atleast. depending on strength of pick or prospect.
a 3rd for Burr take it and run!

- storm88

Maybe a few years back. Hansen last year for sure would have got a 1st if we sold high but we didn't...no way he is worth a 1st now with his current status of injuries.

I agree Edler has interest from other teams and he logs big minutes but we should have traded Edler when MG was offered Carolina's 6th overall awhile back. Again not worth a 1st anymore but a 2nd for sure.

Tanev would for sure get a 1st but a top prospect as well? No freakin way...again injuries have devalued him.

We just need to stop overvaluing our players and see it for what it is.

FA and Linden in LA... sounds like pitching the idea of resigning Miller to 1 or 2 years... then Benning can start shopping Markstrom.

regardless if its good or bad, seems odd an owner or president goes to negotiate a trade, seems more like they want to see if he wants to come back or be traded and come back possibly. Lets be honest, with how often Markstrom has played, he isn't in the long term plans.

Miller would be better for mentoring Demko but Ideally we need to move on from Miller if we can and shed that salary.

Maybe they are there for a swingers convention, or to see Guns & Roses in a private concert or they going to assassinate David Foster.

Calgary desperately needs a goalie. Bob McKenzie has been wrong before even though he is one of 2 or 3 truly reliable pundits.

I hope Bobby is wrong....but why in the frank would Miller waive for Calgary? They aren't a contender and they aren't close to his wife.

Because playoffs are more fun then a bottom three finish...he's got another contract he's trying to play for as well. What's the difference anyway...his family is in LA.

Possible but Miller is not likely to sign in the 3's.
