It was such a weird comment that I noticed it......as they were blathering about possible trade targets.

They've never been on the same team. Hainsey is 6 years older than Sid. They won't have crossed paths at the international level either.

Hainsey's never played even one playoff game at the NHL level, either.

It just seems unlikely that the two would have developed any sort of relationship outside of the rink, is all.
