Yeah and they will have a much higher price than Quincey.

Smith is definitely the Pens best option imo. He can legitimately play 2nd pair minutes.

Price was a big factor with me mentioning Quincey.

Personally, I think the only move the Pens should be looking to do is MAF if they can. Other than that, only real hockey moves should be made.
- Rinosaur

If they can is the major question.

The Maatta injury makes me think they should really look to pick someone up that can potentially slot into a 2nd pair role if needed. Would hate to see a team try and lean on Ian Cole if Maatta struggles coming back.

At bare minimum, they'll add a depth Dman....probably one of the names we've been discussing. It's interesting we've been scouting the Avs so much. There's been Pens scouts at their last 3 games. Plus... We all know Jimmy likes to deal. Gonna be an interesting 10 days.

My main reason in repeatedly beating the drum with Smith is his actual value is higher than his perceived value and Holland is a moron.

I'd be shocked if the Pens picked up Landeskog or Duchene, but who knows. Those are probably the only other two names I'd be looking at for the Pens to make a hockey move.

I wonder if the Pens have also been scouting Tyutin. Any thoughts on him?

Tyutin wouldn't be a terrible depth add. Certainly better than Kulikov.

Tyutin while still very meh is a better option than Kulikov, Oduya, and Quincey imo.

I wouldn't be opposed to Wiercoch. He's screams "Schultz-like" to me.

Arik Parnass isn't going to let them do that.

Excuse me, I do believe you meant the tuba player from THE Ohio State University.

Every player who does that should be choke slammed.

Random moment of madness...

EK has reported MTL is in on Cammalleri. Didn't think he'd be available. He's a natural LW.

I'd love Camm next to Geno!

Yes yes, there's no Guentzel in that top-nine. Don't hate.

I'm aware the idea of getting Camm is 99.9% likely not to happen, but would you guys want him? What would you give up?

You don't see guys from Penn State saying they're from "THE (pause) Pennsylvania State University." Why do these asshats put so much emphasis on the "the?" Do they think people will confuse it with some other Ohio State University?

It'd probaby be too difficult to make it work cap-wise while addressing more pressing needs to be honest.

What if it was a Maatta/Camm deal. Not straight up, but a Cammalleri package.
