They certainly weren't the best line. Im not a fan of it at all, but it kind of is what it is. I really dislike Jake off the first unit too.

I liked hearing Provorov getting PP1 time but I wasn't too sure who got bumped Jake or Schenn. I really think they needed to do something to wake that PP up so the swap was fine with me.

I'm never going to wish for my team to willfully tank. I just can't do that, so I want them to win as often as possible. That said, at the current moment, the win last night seems like false hope. Even if they beat both Washington and Pittsburgh, I still don't see them being good enough to qualify for the playoffs. However, that false hope may cause Hexy to be a bit hesitant on potential UFA deals, while I think that a 3-game stretch shouldn't decide that.

These are my thoughts.

This is why we can't have nice things. Clearly you're being a troll douchebag. You probably hate giroux because he makes a lot of money and speaks french. Didn't watch the game? No problem, he did score a goal so he sucks and should be demoted.

I don't know what's wrong with giroux, hopefully it's not a similar scenario to Mike richards where he just fell off a cliff. Possibly he's dealing with some kind of leg/groin injury that inhibits his skating.

Sorry for the first paragraph but I'm pretty sick and tired of the bs sorrounding this team.

Edit I did stay up and watched the game, giroux played ok, not great but ok.
