With typical injuries on D Nucks can only afford to lose one D. So if it's by prememtive trade or loss to Vegas it stops there. OJ if he makes team would be as 7D for depth. Work him in over season.

I don't know. Willie hasn't given Marky a chance. I'd be fine w Marky as the starter next year as long as he has a veteran backup. It doesn't matter. We won't be a good team for a long time

I think he plays best when he plays a string of games.... but that is not something Willie will allow him to do without an injury to Miller. Once Miller is traded, Marky plays all games.... then we will see.......

Or Demko plays as starter next year in Utica, Sign players for a better Uitca, and sign Miller for 2 years, trade Marky next and have Demko finish the season as Millers backup next year.

We might know by TDL if Sbisa or Tanev are moved in the preemptive Vegas management. I think the hoarding of D will be in a couple seasons with picks/prospects being ready for pros as NHL depth or AHL call up.

By then the journey D like Biega will no longer be the depth. Which will then make the D legit strong. The question of who might be a 1D will be more pressing as Edler declines further.

In fact he was playing in college, doesn't allow any pro time, so he couldn't even have done a nine game trial prior to signing ELC to play on Comets

Doubt very much that Carolina would do that. We would have to add. Roy will be a good #1Centre. If Benning could do that it would be the crime of the decade.

Carolina has plans for him & Gauthier. They will be cup contenders in a couple years with the prospects and young defense they have.
