Really getting tired of bad officiating and these losses over the past few weeks. We were sitting nice and pretty with games in hand and that's all gone now. Really don't even care if they win tonight or not. This team needs more than a good game or win. They need to put together a 5 or 6 game winning streak, and if that isn't going to happen then just ride the rest of the season out hoping to pick as high as possible to take a Dman, While the kids are fun to watch and all still, a dozen plus years of constant failure and losing is starting to take from the positives of the last year or so.

Put rielly on 2nd line, he needs a bit more time it seems.

Bottom line... they are not much better (some, but not much) than a team in year 2 of a rebuild, icing 9 rookies, and without their leading scorer.

The ONLY thing that will happen this year is that the Leafs will get a better draft pick than the Sens again.

I think(I hope) that Lou is putting him in the lineup to be good for expansion.

And Babs knows he's poop. But also realizes he's good at faceoffs so utilizes him just for faceoffs. We will know when he hits his amount of games for the expansion draft

Sens might win the division and have to play the cross over wildcard, done in 4.
Leafs could come 2nd or 3rd and play Montreal or Boston, win in 6.
Worse draft pick...

good enough to take 3 of 4 vs the Leafs......a team so elite that they're playing themselves into 9th place meaning they'll go into next year with the same AWFUL defence as this year.

From 30th place to 9th(should say 17th), would be a huge improvement, and only 2 D-men are signed for next year, although im not sure what that has to do with standings.

Even if the Leafs were picking top 3 again, they wouldn't get a d-man to play right away in the NHL.

Funnily enough, i think its worse for Ottawa to end up in the playoffs and its worse for Toronto to be out of the playoffs. For the long term.

Ottawa needs some high end rookies instead of a 1st round exit(especally with Melnyk's money problems) ,and Toronto needs to show the kids how hard the playoffs really are even though they'll get their butts kicked.

Neither team will win the cup, so, wont make a difference.

As far as im concerned, the Leafs rookies have already way outdone themselves this year. Even in the horrible losses, they keep scoring or playing well. Its the vets that sht the bed.
