I agree. I've defended gardiner a lot. This year has been his best year overall imo, but since the second half of reillys injury till now he has been more liable. Could be the mins he was getting or schedule, but he makes me nervous again.

Matchups. Carrick was +3. Reilly and Zaitzev log the hard minutes every night against the top lines which probably hurts their +/-. Gardiner is deployed in situations that suit his strengths, primarily offensive so more likely to get a +.
