Good news is he started skating end of last week.

How much better would JT be if the first line center of the islanders was Crosby?
Can't put your best checking line on both players. Just the fact that they are on the same team makes Malkin better. Teams totally key on jT and he still puts up sick numbers.
Not to mention when both Malkin and Crosby are out there on a PP together or if the team playing against them ices the puck you throw them both out against a gassed line.
I think jT is an incredible talent and has done this all basically by himself as far as being a dynamic player.

He could still be traded, or a different D-man could be traded because Hammer looks to be coming back soon.

I don't think there will any big trades. They don't seem to happen anymore. Besides this team needs to prove they can win on the road before acquiring missing pieces to make a playoff run.

Good point, but is said player helping them win the cup? Meh, I don't think so. Lets keep our future assets hire a PoHO, fire Snows ass and then let the new regime make those decisions. I don't want to trade the future so we can just make the POs imho.

I say stand pat unless Snow can get a great deal. It looks like a sellers market, so I don't see that happening.

It's a lot... but I still probably make the trade. Might see if I can sub Pulock for 1 of these guys ... dehaan/Hickey/Pelech/Mayfield... Bottom line is Duchene is much better than Brock (almost as MUCH BETTER as JT is to Malkin) ..

If we can get Duchene it will cost us either Brock or Strome.. at least 1 young D-man and a Prospect or first round pick. I would rather MDC than almost all other prospects. I think at this point Nelson instead of Strome.. but D-man Losing Pulock would be upsetting.

his points arent way above brock but he is better, mdc has a deadly shot but i could part with him as well, pulock was probably the deal breaker. id rathe part with hamonic however garth loves him so that wont happen
