Man, I haven't seen the Jets play that often but damn is Scheifele a phenomenal hockey player. Ehlers is a little buzzsaw too, just constantly flying around.

Laine is pretty great too, but he is really benefiting from playing with these two.

And all the leafs have is the Goat to play 4th line C. If he's injured then it's Smith for the rest of the season.

All this trade proves to me is they are playing smith solely for the reason he will be good for the expansion draft
