The Senators haven't scored a goal on a 5on3 in nearly two seasons so I'm not sure how much Polak/Hunwick need to do twitter.com/markhmasters/s…

It's crazy that people think polak and hunwick did anything there that others couldn't.

Until the crap is gone Babcock has shown he'll play them.

Smith must be excellent in practice - 'cause he sure as heck doesn't win any meaningful draws in games.

and I believe its the faceoffs that Babcock was stating as the reason the Leafs claimed him... seems like a waste of a pro contract to me.

I'm no Nucks fan, but they just got jipped on a call... puck whistled dead when it's sitting open in the blue, nullifies it being tucked in right after

they (the Canucks) have had a parade of power plays...where the calls against the Flames are very similar to the those fine calls the Leafs have been enjoying the past few weeks...

He is by far and a long way my least favorite Leaf. Poor in his own end. Hardly ever gets a shot through. Makes Nucks fans look intelligent and does the exact opposite of what all his teammates expect. I can't believe I'm going to say it but I actually prefer Polak to Jake.

Only Rielly and Zaitsev should be kept on D.

As I said a couple days ago, the Leafs have better options on the farm then playing Ben Smith.

It's part of the process. You're jumping the gun. Management aren't really that interested on making the playoffs this year

Can't win them all. So will Leafs be buyers and what can they realistically get by the TDL? With so few sellers you know what teams have what's needed?

Hmmm well that's one way at looking at. Or are the Flames the most penalized team in the league for a reason

As for bad calls Leafs get them like any team. It's part of the game.
