I think #13 or #14.

They still won about 4 of them I think, lost the rest either in reg or OT/SO.

Nope, playoffs are definitely out... They'll show a valiant effort but come up a few points short...
- SofaKingBored

They've been relying on Andersen too much and now that he's not putting up insane .930+ numbers they can't win any games. Hopefully a D prospect surprises us next year and makes the team and plays well or maybe pooptykirk will sign. Either way their D is complete trash as everyone knows and that's really all they need to fix and they'll be in good shape.

I disagree with those saying playoffs are out, the Leafs have clearly proven they are good enough. They just have to kill this slide, which is going to be tough.

I'm probably in the minority here but I thought Kadri deserved the penalty. But yeah, 3 or 4 interference penalties could've been called against the Sends after that...

It's been getting too Habby in here lately.

don't get all noble ... the officiating has been shyte for a good few weeks now... tonight no different.

the call on Kadri would be highly entertaining to have a explanation of... IF you could ever get one. Kadri interferes after begin interfered with. Call them both or don't call anything.

and ya... its okay to punch JvR in the head apparently as well.

no issue...all good.

when games turn on a penalty call and power play goal.. you can't simply say "it all evens out in the end"...

actually no it doesn't help at all if they get a call in the 73rd game of the year when they are out of a playoff position.

and its nothing close to Hab whiny in here... 'Cause the Habs have NEVER EVER had anything to whine about.

was Kadri trying to get to the puck when the Sens d-man was pushing him into the boards.... ya nevermind.. that clearly doesn't matter.

I didn't like it. That kind of plays happens all game. Wideman was trying to slow up kadri and he is just trying to get the puck. If your not going to call the interference then don't call the play of him trying to get around him.

You have to be good to get into the show. They've shown they can be good, they just need to shake off this funk.

Doesn't mean they will, but it's not like they're in a bad position right now. Playoffs were never a thought of to any of us and now all of a sudden they'd need to get in by the end of Feb or else there is no shot??

so you are agreeing that you were trying to get all noble about the officiating... good then.

of course there are no Habs rumors... they have already traded everyone... and have a new coach... its still Suban's fault and god I hope they sign Radulov for big bucks.

nah i've complained about the reffing too, it's just we're going a little too crazy with it right now. the reffing is not helping the leafs but it's their poor play overall that is the real cause of all these losses.

the funk coincides with Smith's return and the week off.

Gardiner was a give-away machine tonight... there literally wasn't a shift he had tonight where he didn't give the puck away...

This team will go nowhere until they can find a partner who can cover Gardiner or they simply move him for someone different. For the most part Zaitsev & Rielly are fine... its the middle pairing that are killing the Leafs.

2 of the goals against tonight were fluke redirections. one was a snipe.

he made a breakaway save.

meh. it's not on him tonight.

The smith experiment is getting ridiculous now. He's counted on to win face offs and he isn't doing that.

Only Rielly and Zaitsev should be kept on D.

As I said a couple days ago, the Leafs have better options on the farm then playing Ben Smith.

I was really down on Carrick earlier this year but he has shown potential and continually improved, and considering his age, deserves more time to mature before we decide one way or the other.
